Shannon David Bumpass, 44, of Willis, Okla., passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the Brookside Nursing Center in Madill, Okla. He was born on November 7, 1977 in Houston, Texas to Archie Wayne Bumpass and Luquita Gail Ford Bumpass.
Shannon was raised in Houston and later moved to Idaho. He also lived in Gainesville, Texas before moving to Willis where he lived the rest of his life. Shannon worked at 177 Truck Repair service in Madill. He was a great daddy who enjoyed fishing and loved working on cars.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Marie Bumpass of Willis, Okla.; children: David Bumpass, Cheyenne Bumpass, Archie Wayne Bumpass; grandchildren: Wyatt David Bumpass, Waylon James Bumpass and Langston King Bumpass; father, Archie Bumpass; siblings: Amber Huffstutlar and husband Tyler of Madill, Okla., Heather Carter, Lee Tadlock, Johnny Carter.
Shannon was preceded in death by his mother; sister, Tina LaNell Tadlock; grandmother, Leola Turner Bumpass and step mother, Karen Bumpass.
Casket bearers are Johnny, Jason, Lee, Jeremy, Tyler, and Ricky and honorary bearers are Jodi, Bill and Dennis Wagoner Jr.
