Royce Lynn “Slick” Arnold, 71, of Ardmore, Okla. passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, at the Canoe Brook Nursing Center in Ardmore. He was born on November 6, 1950 in Madill, Okla. to the late Alfred Globe Arnold and Emily E. Kaney Arnold.

Slick was raised in Enos and graduated from Kingston High School. He worked for more than 30 years at S&H Trailers in Madill and in 2016 moved to Ardmore where he lived the rest of his life. Slick enjoyed his family at Canoe Brook Nursing Center, fishing, listening to classic rock, driving around and setting on the patio smoking marijuana.

He is survived by children: Royce Arnold II and wife Kayla of Madill, Okla., Kelly Self and husband Will of Kingston, Okla, Corey Stewart of Kingston, Okla. and grandchildren: Ashlynn, Emily, Kristian, Remington, Tesla, Sunny and Jessie.

Slick was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Katie Cox; brothers, Sam Scott Arnold and Loyd Glenn “Honey” Arnold.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022 at the Lark Cemetery in Lark, Okla. Doug Tyner will officiate the service.

Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla.
