Reba Dell Myers (Shipley) of Jenks, Okla., went to her glory home on January 4, 2024. Reba was born in Fobb, Okla., in 1939 to parents Ruby Laurene Shipley (Dillard) and Fred D. Shipley.
She came to know the Lord at First Baptist Church of Madill and graduated from Madill High School. She married Charles Floyd Myers of Checotah, Okla., in 1958. Reba and Charlie lived in Tahlequah, Okla.; Augusta, Kan. and Hoisington, Kan., before moving to Jenks, Okla., in 1974. Reba served the Lord in her family, in her community and in church in Jenks. As a certified medical records transcriptionist, she worked for many years at Saint Francis Hospital, the Diabetes Center, and Cancer Care Associates, as well as with several medical practices.
Reba is preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters, Freda and Deloris, all of whom are interred at Russett Cemetery in Johnson County, Okla.
Reba’s priorities in life were God and family. She is survived by her husband Charlie; three children: Sherri Kerpan and husband Michael of Sapulpa Okla., Chuck Myers of Jenks, Okla., and Sandi Patterson and husband Joe of Kingston, Okla.; three grandchildren: Sarah Moore, Zach Patterson (wife Nikki), and Jake Patterson (wife Roni); great grandchildren: Jude Kerpan, River Kautz, Hays Patterson, and Carson Patterson.
A graveside service in her honor will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024, at Russett Cemetery.
