Michael Ray Whitley, 69, of Madill, Okla., passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022. He was born on February 3, 1953, in Dallas, Texas to Alva Whitley and Wilma Roberta Thompson Whitley.
Mike was raised in Dallas and in 2007 moved to Tulsa. In 2010, he moved to Madill where he lived the rest of his life. Mike was a member of the Victory Christian Church in Tulsa, and he enjoyed fishing, remodeling but his greatest love was his family and his dogs.
Mike is survived by his best friend, Renae Whitley of Madill, Okla.; children: Christina Rupe, Michael Whitley Jr.; stepchildren: Misty Tom, Dustin Floyd; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; mother, Wilma Roberta Whitley; brother, Jimmy Wayne Whitley; sister, Mary Katherine Kennedy.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, and two brothers: Gene and Ronnie Whitley.
A memorial service in his honor will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, at the Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla.
