Karen Anne Southerland, 60, of Kingston, Okla. passed away Friday, Oct. 22, 2021 at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was born Oct. 2, 1961 in Breckenridge, Texas to the late Doy Lynn Christian and Shirley Ann Fonville Christian.
Karen was raised in Kingston where she graduated high school in 1980. She lived her entire life in Kingston working as a homemaker. Karen married Mark Southerland on Aug. 12, 1979 in Kingston and she enjoyed crocheting, doing crafts, sewing and loved her grandchildren.
She was survived by her husband, Mark Southerland of Kingston, Okla.; children, Annie Kordeliski and husband John of Kingston, Okla., Seth Southerland and wife Heather of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren: David and Matthew Southerland; brother, Butch Christian and wife Jackie of Houston, Texas; sister, Sherry Welch, Houston, Texas.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents and one brother in-law, Larry Welch.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021 at the Watts Funeral Home, Kingston, Okla. Joe Patterson will officiate the service.
