James David Lee, 79, of Kingston, Okla., passed away on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022 at his home in Kingston. He was born on September 1, 1942 in San Luis Obispo, Calif. to the late Elmer M. Lee and Blanche Lucylle McMillen Lee.

Jim was raised in and attended school in California. He later joined the United States Marines and served for several years. Jim worked as a firefighter and retired from the Santa Barbara County, California Fire Department as Captain.

He married Wanda Yvonne Cody on July 20, 1985 in Reno, Nev. They have lived the past seven months in Kingston. Jim enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and yardwork.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Yvonne Lee of Kingston, Okla.; children: Kristie Lee and husband Ronnie Rodrigues of Lemoore, Calif., Mike Lee and wife Stacy of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Teri Lee Hagans and husband Mike, Hanford, Calif., Keely Pasco and husband Greg of Kingston, Okla., Rodney Boggs and wife Jackie, Newcastle, Okla.;11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Donnie Boggs; brothers, Robert and Gene Lee; one sister, Linda Lee.

Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla.
