Gary Newton Baker, 75, of Kingston, Okla., passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022. He was born on March 1, 1947, in Pauls Valley, Okla., to the late James Lewis Baker and Ora Mae Watson Baker.
Gary was raised in Wayne, Okla., and graduated from Wayne High School in 1967 and later joined the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, camping and being on the lake. He will truly be missed by those he left behind, but he will never be forgotten.
Gary is survived by: Becky Baker; children: Sean Baker and wife Holly of Purcell, Okla., Jennifer Holmes and husband Matt of Purcell, Okla., Matthew Baker of Purcell, Okla.; four grandchildren: Alicia, Gunnar, Lauren, Mason; brother: Bob Baker and wife Mary of Sterling, Okla.; sister: LaDonna of Midland, Texas
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, James Lewis Baker and Ora Mae Watson Baker; daughter, Alisha Baker; brothers, Edward Baker and Eugene Baker; sisters, Patty Hesch, Wanda Holloway and Violet Holloway.
A graveside service in his honor is scheduled for Saturday, Mar. 4, 2023, at the Shay Cemetery.
