Elvis Anthony Roebuck

Elvis Anthony “Tony” Roebuck was born on January 11, 1950, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Elvis Oliver and Pauline (Dollison) Roebuck. Tony passed away on December 15, 2022, in Ardmore, Okla., at the age of 72.

Tony graduated from High School in Oklahoma City. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He received several medals including the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. After his Honorable Discharge, he married Bequeta Jones on February 2, 1971. Tony was a concrete finisher until his retirement.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Judy Mercer and Sharon Roebuck.

Tony is survived by his children: Teri Roebuck-Polster and husband Bud of Madill, Okla., Shelly Roebuck of Kingston, Okla., Bill Roebuck and wife Angela of Shawnee, Okla., Barry Roebuck of Kingston, Okla., and Taylor Roebuck of Norman, Okla.; wife, Bequeta Jones of Kingston, Okla.; brother, Marvin Roebuck of Norman, Okla.; sisters, Mary Roebuck of Anchorage, Alaska, and Lori Roebuck of Hinton, Okla.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Soper Cemetery with Billy Roebuck Sr., Barry Roebuck Sr., Billy Roebuck Jr., Barry Roebuck Jr., Daniel Williams, and Coty Tweedy serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
