C. Ann Strother, of Kingston, Okla. passed from this life on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021 at the age of 86. She was born on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 1935 in Texon, Texas to Clifford Durwood and Opal (Sykes) Green.

She married Zane K. Strother on February 14, 1981 in Electra, Texas.

She was a longtime resident of Kingston, Okla. She previously resided in Duncan and Lawton, Okla. She enjoyed art and traveling. She was a member of the Madill Art Club and the First Baptist West Church of Lawton, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford Durwood and Opal (Sykes) Green.

Survivors include her husband Zane Strother of the home; son, Robert Freeman and wife Peggy of Edmond, Okla.; step-sons, Monte L. Strother and wife Tracy of Plano, Texas, Randy Strother and wife Linda of Cartersville, Ga.; step-daughters, Teri Medina of Humble, Texas, Tracy Privett of Edmond, Okla., Tamera Baldauf of Soldotna, Alaska; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren as well as numerous other extended family and friends.

A family hour will be held from 6-7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 27, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021 at the Gordon Funeral Home, Durant, Oklahoma with Bro. Steve Beebe officiating. Hoot Tyson, Justin Davis, Michael Sweeney, Rick Bland, Wayne Richardson and John Adair will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Vernon Cooper, Steve Stanley, and John Ganster.

An entombment will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021 at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lawton, Oklahoma.
