Guy Alan McClure III, 60, of Madill, Okla., passed away on Monday, Oct. 18, 2021 at the Alliance Hospital in Madill. He was born on Aug. 12, 1961 in Ardmore, Okla. to the late Guy Allen McClure Jr. and LaVanda Marie Sudduth McClure.

He was raised in Madill, graduating from Madill High School in 1979. Alan attended Murray State College in Tishomingo before graduating from Oklahoma University in 1984. He moved to Florida where he worked eight years for an airport, flying cargo in and out. He moved back to the Madill and Kingston area working as a long-haul truck driver for several companies.

Recently he was self-employed, owning a sawmill business. Alan was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ardmore, Oklahoma and he enjoyed watching movies, always looking for new adventures and loved traveling.  He loved his dog “Buddy”.

He is survived by sisters: Madelyn Jo Adams of Oklahoma City, Okla., Millicent McClure Watson of Madill, Okla.; niece, Mariah Coble and husband Cody of Marietta, Okla.;great-nephews: Rhett and Weston Coble of Marietta, Okla.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents and a brother in-law, Danny “Bodie” Watson.

Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021 at the Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from noon to 8 p.m. with a family hour from 5-6 p.m.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Oct. 25, 2021 at the Woodberry-Forest Cemetery in Madill, Okla. Alton Fannin will officiate the service.

ervices will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla.
