Juanita Louise Eppler, 81, of Lebanon, Okla., passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the Family Care Center, Kingston, Okla. She was born on August 11, 1942, in Pueblo, Colo., to the late Walter Matheson and Bessie Caraway Gregory Bell.
Juanita was raised in Fredrick, Okla., and later moved to Oakland, Okla., where she met Clinton Eppler. he married Omer Clinton Eppler on March 3, 1957, in Hernando, Miss., and he preceded her in death on July 5, 2013. They lived in Pensacola, Fla., before living in Odessa, Texas. In 1964. Juanita moved back to this area living in Lebanon where she lived the rest of her life.
She worked as a hairdresser and helping Clinton around his auto repair shop. Juanita was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church, and she loved working in the yard, dancing and listening to music.
She is survived by her daughter, Terri Cox and husband Steve of Amarillo, Texas; five grandchildren: Justin Eppler and wife Courtney of Alaska, Bryan Eppler of Marietta, Okla., Branda Whitley and husband Jamey of Claude, Texas, Jesse Cox of Amarillo, Texas, Levi Cox and wife Arlene of Amarillo, Texas; nine great-grandchildren: Sawyer, Oliver, Abigail, Kenadee, Aiden, Alyssa, Graycen, Gwen and Allison.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jeff Eppler; brother, Alfred Lee Matheson and sister, Noreta Lou Stout.
Casket Bearers are Levi Cox, Jesse Cox, Jamey Whitley, Mark Eppler, Kevin Eppler and Randy Eppler.
A funeral service in her honor is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024.
