Lynn (Frye) Dailey was born in Clovis, N.M., on March 23, 1946 to Douglas and Georgia (Tarter) Frye. She passed from this life on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at the age of 76.
Lynn was raised in the Texas panhandle, graduated from Friona High School, and attended Texas Women’s University majoring in Home Economics. On August 15, 1969, she married her husband of 53 years, Arnold Dailey. They farmed many years while raising their children Jennifer and Jeffrey, before moving their family to Oklahoma in 1983. Lynn loved to cook and bake and Arnold’s lunches were always coveted by his friends at work. Lynn loved spending time with her family. Lynn and Arnold are members of Lake Church.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Charles Frye.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold; daughter, Jennifer Blackburn and her husband, Bart; a son, Jeff Dailey and his wife, Cheri; grandsons Tanner, Hunter, and Harper Maston; granddaughters Rylee Hodges and Kynlee Dailey; great grandchildren Camden and Emma Maston; and two sisters Betsy Stanfield and Cheryl Shipman.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Lake Church located at 255 Knobb Road in Kingston, Okla., with Pastors Bobby Waitman and Mark Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Kingston Cemetery with Tanner Maston, Hunter Maston, Harper Maston, Logan Hodges, Scott Stanfield, and John Smith serving as casket bearers.
Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service in Durant, Okla.
