Glen Allen Lewis, 67, of Madill, Okla. passed away on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, at the Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Okla, He was born on August 6, 1954, in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late GA Lewis and Margaret Jane Sells Lewis.
Glen was raised in Randlett, Oklahoma and graduated from Big Pasture High School in 1972. He joined the United State Marine Corps and served for four years receiving an honorable discharge. Glen married Phyllis Diane Ward on October 6, 1976, in Wichita Falls and she preceded him in death on December 18, 2016. He retired in 2000 from his own business building fences. Glen attended the Hilltop Baptist Church and he loved quail hunting, raising quail, fishing, and watching Food Network.
He is survived by his daughter, Terri Henry and husband Bud of Kingston, Okla.; four grandchildren: Taylor Henry and fiancé Daniel Cueva of Sanger, Texas, Jewell Henry of Kingston, Okla., Alyssa Henry of Kingston, Okla.; sisters, Nancy Pace of Burleson, Texas, Sara Kay Ternevzen, of Farmington, N.M.; nephew, Levi Bailey of Fort Worth, Texas; nieces: Stephanie Finch of Burleson, Texas, Hilary Key of Fort Worth, Texas.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Memorial service was held Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022 at the Church of Christ in Kingston, Okla.
Services under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma.
