Mike married Roberta Gaye McGahey on December 21, 2004 in Powell, Okla. He was baptized in the Church of Christ, and he loved to fish, hunt, shoot pool, ride horses, and spend time with his family.
His baby girl Harley was his world, never doing any wrong. Then came Davis, his grandson, who was his pride and joy. Mike (also known as Poppy by his grandkids) would get on to his parents for spanking him, telling all the nurses he had to get home to him and had another one on the way. Mike had a lifelong friend, Chubby McGahey since the age of 4, not many have that, and Charlie Buckaloo who was like his big brother and he loved those two with all his heart. One of his favorite things in life was getting to work side by side with his boys Dalton and Justin in his tire shop teaching them all he knew.
